Salary: The salary range is $64,540 - $108,451. Starting salary is based on professional work experience, qualifications, and related legislative/government experience.
Telework: This position works on-site in the Minnesota Senate Building and Capitol during the legislative session. When the legislature is not in session, flexible hybrid options may be available.
Days of Work/Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-4:30pm. This position requires long and irregular hours and the ability to meet tight deadlines during the legislative session, including evening and weekend work. Additional paid time off will be available.

Position Summary
The Committee Administrator works strategically and collaboratively with members, staff, the caucus, and the public, advancing integrity, openness, and respect for all participating in the work of this office and the Minnesota Senate.
An ideal candidate will have experience working with the legislative process. We seek someone who can provide legislative expertise and support relating to committee areas during session.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Business Administration, or related area of study.
OR
Two (2) years of experience in state or local government, public policy, government affairs, research, policy analysis, or related.
